TULI SAFARI LODGE

Award-winning* Tuli Safari Lodge – set in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve – is an idyllic base for exploring the majestic landscape, spectacular wildlife and fascinating history of this beautiful, unspoilt corner of Botswana. It is located on the banks of the Limpopo River, close to Mapungubwe World Heritage Site in South Africa and at the heart of the proposed Limpopo-Shashe Transfrontier Conservation Area.

A varied, authentic and affordable safari experience awaits you – with over 350 species of birds, a large elephant population, vast herds of plains game and all the predators including a recently reintroduced pack of wild dog.

There’s also much more to the Tuli magic – stunning scenery, magnificent trees, vast skies, rich history, sites of archaeological and spiritual significance and fascinating geology.

With 8 individually designed suites and an established team of friendly staff, we offer a highly personalised stay, which can be as relaxed or exciting as you choose. Each air-conditioned suite has en-suite bathroom, double/twin beds (or family rooms) and sitting areas in and outdoors. Meals are served in a variety of alfresco locations – we try not to eat in the same place twice!

Activities include game drives and bush walks with exceptional guides, hides tucked away in the bush, visits with the local community, opportunities to participate in our conservation projects, day visits to Mapungubwe, horse riding …. or you can simply relax and enjoy the peaceful lodge surroundings in the company of our resident bushbuck, warthog and mongoose families. Our Wildguides@Tuli course is an action-packed 4 day adventure designed to equip guests with some of the skills and awareness of a safari guide.

Our additional lodge facilities include a large swimming pool, waterhole, star deck, conservation centre, curio shop and the original bar built in 1964 around an ancient Nyala berry tree. We can also accommodate small conferences.

Responsible tourism is key to our operating philosophy. We are actively involved with several community development projects, have a resident conservationist and policies in place to ensure sustainable use of our natural resources.

Tuli Safari Lodge also manages and operates Tuli Bush Camps – Nokalodi & Molema – two beautiful self-catering destinations also in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve. Guests have the option of staying in a tented camp, wooden cabins or camping.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tuli!
