4X4
ECO TRAILS - MAPUNGUBWE NATIONAL PARK
The
Tshugulu EcoRoute is a new 4 x 4 trail in the Mapungubwe National
Park, which gives visitors the chance to experience up close and
enjoy the typical natural surroundings of the Limpopo Valley and
the Mapungubwe National Park. The route is about 45km and takes
about 6 hours. It is primarily an educational and scenic route.
The intention is not to test the vehicle’s or the driver’s
4 x 4 skills, although a 4 x 4 vehicle is required to complete
the route. There are picnic spots along the route.
If guests
do not have their own suitable 4 x 4 vehicle, Mopane Bush Lodge
can arrange to take guests on the trail.
